I’m not from a line of Romany gypsies who have been reading tarot for years. None of my family read tarot, in fact, my Catholic mother would be saying 20 hail Mary’s for me if she knew! She’s nearly 90, I’m not going to tell her now! Unlike a lot of other readers, I cannot profess to saying I read tarot because it’s been in my family since my great, great, great grandmother passed it down the generations. No. The fact is, I’m a solitary tarot reader in my family!
I first bought a tarot deck about 30 years ago. I messed about with it a bit, tried to understand it, did bits here and there, but never really studied it and couldn’t fully understand it. It seemed hard work if I’m honest so after a while, I put the deck down and thought, sod that! It was much later that my interest grew to a more positive situation! I loved it in fact and couldn’t get enough of it. I studied hard, bought many books, decks and cheat sheets. I looked online, watched all the videos I could find, joined mailing lists. I was all consumed by tarot and I still am. I love it.
I’ve been a bit of a dabbler. I studied a few Aromatherapy courses about 25 years ago when it wasn’t as popular as it is today. I still use it, mainly for family and friends but it fits in nicely with tarot reading because I like to have different aromas around when I’m reading cards and I like to choose something relevant, rose essential oil for someone asking about love for instance.
I do not have a team of people reading cards for me. If you contact me for an email reading, it will be me that works with you and does a reading for you. It is always a one one one personal experience.
I am a fully paid up member of the Tarot Association of the British Isles.
